Newborn Portrait Details

Congratulations and what an exciting time for your family!! I’m a mom of two, an eight and four year old, and I specialize in working with families and children, especially babies! This definitely adds a level of familiarity and safety to me working with your growing family. Safety is my number one priority, I am up to date on all of my vaccinations, I received my flu vaccine on 9/15/2023 I am fully vaccinated against Covid.

Below are the details for my in home newborn portrait sessions; a styled photoshoot and a lifestyle session. Both take place in your home and include your immediate family, the difference is the lifestyle session does not include several styled sets, the styled session is much longer to account for different setups, posing and the family portraits. Details and price are included in the image below. My style newborn sessions take place between day 10-21 for the best results, lifestyle sessions have more flexibility in timing since posing is more relaxed and can be taken at anytime.

Lifestyle sessions take place in your home and capture your new addition in a more relaxed posing, baby is mostly held in mom and dad’s arms. You are welcome to incorporate baby’s nursery/crib, special mementos and/or their bassinet. I will bring a wrap and outfit for baby to wear. My most popular newborn session is the styled newborn portraits, I come to your home with a traveling studio. It is an all inclusive session, I curate all of the props, outfits and decor for your sets, that are based on your color and style preferences. While I'm working I encourage you to take a moment to relax; have a warm meal and shower, after your session I edit all of your images with professional software and deliver your images to you in a viewing gallery for you to select your favorite seven digital high resolution images. During the session we will take photos of baby posed and then we will take photos of baby with mom, dad and siblings (if applicable). I am only taking on one newborn a week to devote the time and safety between clients, so booking early is important. Due to covid, I’m taking extra measures, for your family’s and my family’s safety, many things I already did, but now there’s more attention in some areas, details can be found in the image below.

If you do like more than the images included, there is an option to purchase more at a discounted rate, rates are included in the image below. I do not require you to purchase prints through me and I am not affiliated with a printing store, if you would like recommendations it would be based on my personal experience.

If you’re interested in booking a newborn session the next step would be to discuss dates. Both lifestyle and the styled session are photographed in the morning at your home. A non-refundable retainer of $100 for the styled newborn session OR $60 for the lifestyle newborn session is required to reserve your session, this is applied to your session fee unless there’s a late cancellation. My contract will be sent to you at the time of the retainer request along with my newborn questionnaire so you may provide me with your preferences and to prepare your customized sets.
